Or originated in Anatolia one or the other
Yes
west and central anatolian hitit
east anatolia armenian
southeast anatolia(mesopotamia)

According to geographers, Anatolia consists only of Western and Central Anatolia. Eastern Anatolia and Mesopotamia region is not Anatolia. The natives of that region have different genetics

Nice, Turkish people have wonderful culture. Turks were the original people of Anatolia before the Greeks right?
dont know what the actual anatolians were, but i believe they were more alike greeks back then compared today
turkic central asians moved into turkey, mingled with the local populations, and then you got the turks today

some of non-turks did get assimiliated to the turkish nationality however

When I went to Istanbul I saw everyone now and then people who had chinky eyes but the majority of them just looked classic Turkish to me
thats the oghuz turkic ancestry.

some turks, specially southwest turkey, can be up to 50 percent oghuz turkic.
those oghuz ancestors were equally as ''east asian'' as turkmen and uzbeks, like 25-40 percent east asian, and obviously many, if not most of these central asian ancestors of turkish people, would look like uzbeks, kazakhs and such.

this is why you encountered slanted eyed turks

but still, Turks living in Turkey are very different people from Central Asian people. Incomparable to people in Central Asia
