It definitely doesn't look Kurdish. it just looks too veddoid and south indian. It can pass through the Horn of Africa and South India.

To me he looks Pakistani or Indian, but he might actually be from regions of Afghanistan or Iran that is geographically close to the borders of Indian subcontinent.
