Georgians aren't seen as european either

Even though Turkey is quite distinct from the Levant they still are more affiliated to the middle east than any other region at least historically, culturally and genetically

the same who said armenians are europeans ; it probably has to do with religion than anything else that's why they also tend to whitewash christian minorities in the middle east.

i dont care too much, but apparently turkey and georgia are politically considered europe, so i guess they can be considered europeans.

In my opinion, both Turkey and Georgia aren't Euro countries both geographically and politically. Only small fragments of their territories are in Europe. If we had to choose the more european shifted country between Georgia and Turkey then I would choose Georgia and I would give it an edge mainly because it's a christian country

what do u mean by any other region? as i said genetically some turks are more farther from the levant than the caucasus is farther from the levant (and i'm not only talking about balkan turks, majority of northwest, southwest, centralwest, western black sea etc.) and some of them more or less same distincty level as caucasus.

culturally sure armenia and georgia christian and i don't find it's weird they don't considered as middle eastern but azeri culture even more oriental influenced than turkish one or same because of soviet influence. (i mean republic azeris, iranian azeris clearly much more oriental) but for many people turkey always more asociated middle east.

btw my point is not why turkey is not european etc. i don't see any turk as european even genetically european ones. my point is even caucasus have their own thing but why turkey asociated with middle east?

because i can't see huge similarities other than a few cultural things.

Actually both armenia and azerbaidjan are considered to be part of the middle east. Turkey is simply more famous than those two little countries. Anyway like I said Georgia is in general affiliated to other west asian countries than Europe and people of course know less about it than about Turkey.
