when i ran aside of them i was looking at them . pretty sure they were pakistanis because they looked like it . if i am not wrong later some girls with veils walked to them too so most likely pakistanis

why do some people claim in forums that they look west asian like ? they look NOTHING like us . i was trying to find one out of them (they were around 20 people) who can pass as west asian yet found no one

and they are of course a lot darker . and their facial features are exotic as fuck . they have VERY obvious subcontinent in their faces

bro honestly i dont see that on the forums at all, atleast recently linking west asians and south asians. occasionally some might say there's some overlap, but even then I agree there really isnt with indic populations. Also you gotta understand pakistan does have 30% of its population that consists of pashtun/balochi/northern himalayan populations and they're not indic. the northern himalayans like kalash, kho, hunza people are "indic" linguistically but genetically they're closer to pashtuns It is a significant portion. Even they usually dont look west asian but they definitely have several that are west asian passing at least.

irl, people dont know what west asians look like tbh. It might be different in germany or france, or brazil with lebanese, but in rest of the world the west asian diaspora isnt that high at all. If anything, many people associate us with the terrorist jokes and curry jokes at the same time, while actual MENAs a lot of times get the pass as latinos, sometimes euro as well. In the US, many people think the northern indics like punjabis and surrounding groups are the middle easterners, while the actual menas/west asians get the euro/latino pass.

no i completely agree. west asians look very different from southern asians. ill be honest i used to think there was some overlap as well with us and some west asian groups like iranians especially, but ive learned through the forums and pics/threads you've shared as well that its definitely not the case.

Latinos don't look Euro, many Desis get mistaken for Hispanic in the US because they're usually mixed race like Jennifer Lopez. Middle eastern usually pass for white while only white latinos can overlap with MENAs but mestizos will only pass for Desi.
