i am kurdish from turkey

when people dont know my ethnicity yet they often guess me the ethnic groups you listed . you can also see that on the first page ..for example .member weda14 and Theoden didnt know me before and they have guessed the same ethnic groups

those are also among the ethnic groups people most of the time guess me in real life too . but egypt i gave gotten only once in real life while greek , italian , and especially turkish i get a lot . i am living in germany

You can pass in the East Med + Balkans, I assume in some Caucasian mixed places, like parts of Ukraine, etc.

You have white to pink complexion, that can obviously produce melanine/tan, and almond eyes, slightly down turned, which is a Med trait.

Your only exotic feature that would denote Transcaucasian origin would your nose, but I've seen dinarid noses twice as big in the Balkans.

PS. You need to grow your beard long*ish.

do you really think my eyes are slightly down turned ? in real life they are neutral or even slightly upturned . on the pics i dont see the downturn either tbh

IMHO, you’re Taurid-Asiatic Alpine, you can pass all over the Eastern Anatolia and Armenia but I don’t know you can pass in Iran, Iraq and Syria but definitely can not pass as a Levantine, you look Eastern Anatolian/Armenian to me.

i think i can pass in north syria and lebanon . but i agree i would look off in southern levant

I don’t think you’re typical for Levantine countries, you don’t have any Semitic/Arabid facial features, to me you’re clearly look Eastern Anatolian or could fit in Armenia, Iraq and Georgia, you look more Kurdish or Armenian than Levantine folks.

well levantines and people who have been to lebanon and syria told me that i pass there easily . and i also saw some pics and videos of lebanese and syrians who looked like me . but to be honest with you i am more "northern" looking than the average levantine for sure

- anatolian turks from central and eastern turkey
- western armenians
- azerbaijanis
- northwest iranians such as gilaks and talysh
- cypriots
- western and northern persians who dont show south asian influence in their look
- eastern and southern georgians


anybody else is not the closest to us

but if you would continue the list then it would be

- greek islanders
- tajiks
- some jews
- balkans
- south europe
