By the way, R1a* is 25000 (thousand) years old. And it was widespread all over the place including Kurdistan for a very long time. What has that Y-DNA haplogroup to do with the ARYANS who existed during the Median Empire times in the Iron Age?

R1a in the modern EASTERN Iranic people is most likely related to the Central Asian Scythians. I wouldn't want to call the Scythians model purebred Aryans. Some even have their doubts whether those were 'Iranic' in the first place.
R1a in Central Asia is really nothing special. R1a* in Kurdistan is msot likely older.
The real ARYANS aka the Western Iranic Guto-Medes had always more R1b and J2 in them than R1a.

Btw, I am not against Y-DNA R1a. My own paternal Y-DNA lineage is R1a* and it is just native to Kurdistan. It has absolutely nothing to do with Russia. I think I am going to take another test, becasue I am starting to think that my R1a* is most likely R1a2 and related to the CImmerian R1a2c

Not, they didn't found it YET. But the diversity of R1a in Kurdistan is greater than the diversity in Russia. Modern R1a in Russia that has nothing to do with the ARYAN at all and even in South Central Asia R1a (Z93) is just a recent bottle neck and a product of the elite dominance. According to the latest major study conducted on R1a, R1a is the most diverse in Kurdistan.

R1* and R1a* were most likely related to the ancient ANE people. But ANE people migrated into Kurdistan and the Iranian Plateau even before the agricultural Neolithic Revolution started.

Even my own Y-DNA R1a* is too ARYAN for the Eastern European Russian Slavic folk.


Fact is that it were the Medo-Persian Empires that were truly ARYAN. No other cultures were considered 'more' ARYAN. The Medes and the Persian kings (shah) called themselves ARYANS. And those empires were predominately Iran_ChL/Zagros_IronAge empires. That makes Iran_ChL an ARYAN component.
