I live in Australia. Polynesia is just a group of islands in the Pacific Ocean. New Zealand has its native Polynesians, the Maori. The rest are independent or part of France like Tahiti.

They are closer to the earlier paleolithic people of taiwan, or the lapita people. They are not descended from modern day SEAsians, who look more neolithic mongoloid then polynesians who look more paleolithic
