I never understood this tradition. Why would you release bulls to run you over. Makes 0 sense

It is a macho thing. I don't understand why people do the Camino de Santiago and knee their way up the steps to the church. Fake piety. I am all for the bulls not the participants.

Yea but people aren't harming himself by doing fake piety.

To me its sort of like having a bunch of calverymen or cars go around and try to run over pedestrians and you.

Well in every city, people play chicken with cars. If people accept the risk and pay the insurance, they can play chasey with wild bovines. Listen, if I climbed up steps on my knees, I would definitely injure myself. I cannot kneel.
