Indigenous Mexicans make up 20% of the Mexican population, there is also a large Indigenous Mexican diaspora in the US, most Mexicans & Chicanos have at least some Indigenous Mexican ancestry, it includes tribes like the Purepecha, Nahua, Otomi, Maya, Totonac, Tarahumara, etc.
