I know for sure that the the man is 100% georgian jew. It turns out that the woman was born in Georgia and her family migrated to israel when she was just a kid. There is a good chance that she is 100% geo jewish

His surname means literally THE Megrelian. And once again, I never met a Georgian Jew in my life who was 'pure'. All of them have some other ancestry.

I don't know what kind of georgian jews you have met in your life but i can confirm that very few have non-georgian jewish ancestry.

There are georgian jews with that surname. There are also georgian jews with these surnames: gurieli, gurielashvili

Abesadze is only a georgian surname. Georgian jews don't carry it. And she is not even a georgian jew so she shouldn't be included

I didn't include her. But her father is a Georgian and her mother is a Russian Jew. I consider her more a 'Georgian' than Jewish in the first place. But according to the Jewish law she IS a Jew from Georgia.

Most Jews from the USSR are like that. Most of them (if not ALL of them) are mixed, you like it or not..

Nope. Caucasus jews are not mixed and neither are ashkenazi jews for the most part.

Also, that orthodox jewish law is garbage. As long as you are a convert you are "jewish" and that's the case for georgian jews too since they mostly descend from ancient converts to judaism

Because if someone from a completely different ethnicity converts to judaism is automatically considered jewish and that individual also identifies as a jew.

In my opinion majority of geo jews pass very well as kurds. The weird thing is that they are a lot closer to armenians than to kurds yet they don't really resemble armenians phenotypically.
