Classify Iranians

im gonna be honest, there's definitly a significant overlap between south italians and many iranians more northwest
though many iranians also look different. not so weird though since theyre often equally as west eurasian as europeans. germans are another thing though, since even turks overall can be told apart from germans

Most of the ppl interviewed in the video look brown tho. Pashtuns can pass in south Italy too, not a big deal!!!!
iranians are way more similar to south europeans than pashtuns are

Have u ever been to a Pashtun wedding? Put Pashtuns in western clothing and many pass in SOUTHERN Italy.
How many of the ppl in the video pass as Kurd???

Yeah u post ppl in traditional clothes. When I go to Pashtun weddings in the US/Canada I see many Italian types.
i have, we dont really look like south italian. i have been, yes
not even half of the iran persians in the pics i posted can pass anywhere in italy, and theyre northwest iranians, equally as west eurasian as europeans
only 1 of the pics are in traditional clothes. the other 3 arent, and theyre from south afg, while one with traditional are from kunar. half of them are clean-shaven even
i assume you met kabuli pashtuns, the original kabulis, alike the original kabuli tajiks who left kabul for the west. a good amount have some distant iranian ancestry, which makes them look more ''west asian'' compared to other afghans, which isnt so weird considering nader shah pushed iranians towards afg, who end up in the cities of afg.
this is why i find these pashtuns in videos more ''west asian'' looking
very many northwest iranians, perhaps half of them, dont look south italian even, so its obvious there are even less pashtuns that pass as south italians

No they aren't Kabuli. Been to Kandahari, Paktiawal, Wardag, Helmandi, etc weddings. Most don't look Italian obv but a decent portion do. Many Pashtuns, Nuristanis, Tadjiks are whiter than Iroonis bro.

if afghans arent darker than iranians, then theyre more less the same at best, while northwest iranians clearly pass better in europe overall compared to rest of afg

the problem with classifying iranians in general is that iran is a big country with big diversity . there are a good amount of iranians who will look very exotic for northern west asia . like the guy on 3:40 (the guy on right) for example . there is absolutely no chance of him passing as Kurdish , Turkish , Armenian etc for example
at the same time many iranians who look "normal" iranian will have their own specific iranian look . however as i said often i have met many iranians in my life . and many of them can easily pass as balkanites
and imhere is right that north/west iranians have more south european passing people than pashtuns . this is not even debatable and disagreeing with it would just be dishonest
i am aware that there are many pashtuns who will easily pass as north west asian and even european . but at the same time there are many more who dont .
i have also seen / met a good number of afghans in my life . and i can tell you that rapper ssio is a typical afghan .....
i should add the fact that many afghan members i have seen in forums look very northern west asian and also passable as european . pashtuns are clearly different from punjabis etc

youre sort of exaggerating. scroll up and look at the pictures of iranians i posted. around half of them dont pass as italians
