i can tell you that they can not pass as Kurdish . only 1 of them can . maybe 2 at a stretch

to me they look similar to coastal north africans . for a longer time i noticed that afghans overlap with north africans

Agreed. They are looks like North African as hell. They also don't look like South Asians at all
