In Mexico, I agree with the map, Northern Mexico & the Bajio are definitely majority Euromestizo with a signficant Criollo minority, with Balanced Mestizos also forming a good amount of the population, & few Indo-Mestizos (mainly transplants from the south), & isolated Amerindian populations.

The only self-identified colonial Hispanos are the New Mexican Hispanos (red) & the Islenos of Louisiana, however a good chunk of the self-identified Mexican population in South Texas are Tejanos (being also colonial Hispanos who have been in Texas prior to Texas Annexatjon), & a tiny minority...
