I have a bit of Sardinian, I also have full Sardinian relatives on my 23andme which we match on the Sardinian side
I dont know how it got there but i doubt it was through a Sardinian immigrant who went to Mexico, I am thinking a Sardinian immigrant went to mainland Italy and got himself/herself a local Italian and from there, thats how the Sardinian in me showed up

other than that, i have no way of explaining it

Yea that could be the case for you. It must came with your Italian ancestry, via maybe some Sardinian immigrant from the island to mainland Italy, and Sardinian ancestry made it in your Family tree. That's possible. You may be right. Its interesting brah.

Funny but my grandmother, my dads mom looks kinda like a Sardinian lol but I dont think she has Sardinian. But just part Italian. I score 1 percent Sardinian on AncestryDNA and on 23andme too before but in update the Sardinian score was taken off.
My grandmother similar type as this Italo Sardinians 72986361_1224772017706761_266677991460202...png
