i just came back from the supermarket and there was an indian family and the son had that headwear as the kid in blue has . and he looked extremely south asian and was also dark as fuck . father was more "mild" but still looked pakistani . mother was typical indian woman but lighter skin (maybe bleached ? not sure if they do that in europe)
most north indians look undoubtly and distinctly south asian . yes yes we got it you dont look like tamils .....but you still look south asian

more like Punjabi Sikh vs South Indian tribals. Punjabis are just 2% of Indians, the majority of North Indians are from UP who are usually browner than Sikhs.

I wouldn’t say she bleached because Sikhs can be quite light skinned but even then their facial features fit within the south Asian spectrum. The Sikhs in Iran and Afghanistan also stand out among the locals.

Brown is more of cultural label, not literal. The video was about north East Asian vs southeast Asian and to NE Asians, SE Asians are brown cause of cultural reasons, their heritage. You having mocha or caramel skin doesn’t change that
