the problem is that there is no such thing as a uniform "iranic people" . or an "iranic look"

think about it . Ossetians , Tajiks , Balochs are all Iranic for example but look different

He looks partly Pashtun but he mainly looks Muhajir Pathan. I feel like Muhajir pathans constitute their own ethnicity due to years of mixing and different political and cultural values. He’s a Karachiwala not a KPKer.

Thank you all for your input. I thought I looked partly Iranian because my anthropology friend and natufian both pointed it out, but after reading the comments from the others, I think it’s safe to say that I’m basically a North Indian, which I’m proud of. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what we look like or where we come from because we are all God’s creations, and he doesn’t look at the looks but rather the heart. The only thing we will be taking to our grave is not our looks but our deeds. We all come from the same mother and father and we are all brothers and sisters. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you all. Thanks.

just to clarify though :

iranic term at the same time does have some meaning . west iranics are definitely similar to each other and related to each other . Kurds , Ossetians , Talysh , Gilakis , Lurs , north Persians without south asian admx etc. . . we do share stuff together and it is similar to Scottish - Irish - Welsh - English etc . even though for some odd reason persians often look different from us Kurds nonetheless

but people like pashtuns and balochs are different from us . even though with pashtuns it also depends . for example the "pashtun north afghanistan " from the G25 database is not that much different from northwest Iranics . but even that sample has a lot less EEF than us and also has 8 % or so AASI which we dont have

but thinking that any muh iranic speaker from eastern Turkey all the way to Pakistan are similar to each other is nonsense .

even Romanians and Portuguese are not exactly the same even though they are both Romance people and both european . for example . so how do people expect us northwest Iranics to be like the southcentral asian people lol

Yes I did one on ancestry. I got 88% North Indian, 7% Pakistan and Afghanistan (south Central Asia), 4% South Indian and 1% Korean. What do you think my haplogroup would be? I uploaded my results on some haplogroup site and I got haplogroup H.

just to clarify something though :

a person can be partially of the Iranid phenotype but still not look Iranian . and i am not sure if you might have Iranid on your type . hard to say

also some Iranians especially Persians can look south asian esque . but those who do also look different from you .

in my opinion you can only pass in pakistan . i can not even see india much to be honest . but not sure maybe i am wrong about this one
