West med looking north africans

I notice such traits are quite common among us and clearly distinct from what is found in the east med area (my mother is a good example btw). Such features have already been noticed by forensic studies where many north african skulls tend to cluster with corsicans, iberians, sardinians, etc (if needed I can post some sources).

Here is what I mean by west med phenotypes among north africans :

many of them are rather south meds IMO

South med is a west med type and mostly found there but typical south med would still look different to the people I posted.

South med would be dolicho types like these ones :

You don't have to look fully spanish or italian to be "west med" looking, it's all about craniometry :

Analysis of the anthropological position of the Algerians in relation to the other populations of the Mediterranean basin shows that there are connections between them and certain populations of the western Mediterranean area, such as Corsicans, Sardindians, Spanish, and southern Italians. On the otherhand, however the anthropological distance between the Algerians and the central Italians, the Yugoslavs, and the sedentary populations of the Near East, such as Jordanians, Lebanese, and Syrians, appears to be rather great. Among these populations, the Armenoid type(which is quite different from the Mediterranean type) is in fact well represented, although it is not very widespread in Algeria.

Like I said you don't have to look fully sardinian or spanish to be west med. The people I posted clearly show high physical similarities with other west med people despite them still looking NA. The same way cypriot, turk or lebanese won't necessarily look exactly the same but we can often recognize them as being from the east med area.

Also read the quote I posted, craniometrically these people don't cluster with people from the middle east but clearly with other west med countries.

honestly you exaggerate a bit lol most still look North african. It's simply that these types share similarities with what is found among our neighbours.
Well, then that just means average north africans and south euros(south italians and coastal spanish) can pass for one another easily

No because these people do not represent most north africans (a good portion yes but certainly not most of them).

Overlap will maybe be more common with berbers like riffians or Kabyles but certainly not most berbers. We're probably the most diverse population in west eurasia easily.

Well, im mainly talking about northern berbers in general. They all look like this and more spanish looking even, right?

They probably have French, Roman/Italian, or Morisco ancestry.
most of the people posted are berbers so no they don't have roman or morisco ancestry let alone french

people with recent european ancestry are found in big urban areas like Fez, rabat, meknes, chefchaouen, tetuan, etc certainly not the riffian mountain or the atlas mountains
